About

I was born and raised in Treviso, a beautiful Medieval town situated about 30 minutes from Venice.  I studied Languages and Tourism in Italy, and Communication Science in the USA.  I lived in Tennessee and Montreal, and then came back to Italy.  When I came back to Italy, I moved to the mainland of Venice. I worked in organizing events and trips, and discovered I love helping people make memories as well as meeting people from all over the world. I would like to take you by the hand now to discover together all the unknown places.  To see the true and genuine side of my real, hidden Venice and to help you to fall in love with this unique place.  I will share curiosities and give you tips only locals can reveal to you and we will have fun while you get to know the history, art, culture, cooking, and lifestyle of this magical region. We will visit towns, cities, and parks that you will remember forever!

Fun Fact

The very first time I saw an opossum in Tennessee, I thought I killed it as I was chasing it in order to see it better. I then discovered they pretend to be dead to escape from their predators. I’ve realized he was still alive after I cried about causing his death for about 5 minutes, when he quickly jumped up and ran away.

Favorite Food

Tiramisù, meaning "pick me up" or "cheer me",  is a coffee-flavoured Italian dessert. It is made of ladyfingers (savoiardi) dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa.

Hidden Gem

Acqua Alta bookshop: this chaotic yet charming book shop is a dream come true for bargain hunters. The welcoming owner stacks new and used books in antique gondolas, bathtubs, canoes, and barrels.  Even though you could spend all day sifting through and collecting literary treasures, be sure to take a break and find the friendly cats who roams the shop. After you’ve found priceless souvenirs and gifts, head to the garden and marvel at the staircase made from old, vibrant books.
